There is a term in the above Guardian article that in the past has been applied so indiscriminately and, it has to be said, by some of the greatest gobshites that have ever come to popular attention, that it has now ceased to lose any proper form of meaning.
Oh, and the concept is largely fictitious as well, having very little basis in reality.
